All right, RenSpace visitors --- welcome to Missive #145 in me blog here. I'm Blackwolf the Dragonmaster, New York City's Unofficial Wizard --- and boy, have I been drenched, exhausted, and otherwise rendered weird after taking on the challenge of a long 4th of July spent at my homebase, Central Park's Bethesda Terrace, on 72nd Street and Central Park West, New York City.
As usual, I encountered a rare and delicious assortment of Mortals visiting mine adopted metropolis from everywhere in the world; and they enjoyed posing for photos with me. I have yet to go about and hunt for images of myself on Google --- but I'll deal with that inevitably. When the day almost reached its climax, I debated over whether or not I should go do Macy*s 4th of July Fireworks --- mostly because a): what else was I gonna do other than bore meself to death; and b): I really didn't wanna hafta to fix up me television set and play the game of 'human antenna'. Fortunately, ever-neurotic Mother Nature made my decision for me in the end, so I simply packed it up, returned to ye olde humble hovel, and simply called it a night!
(The NBC telecast probably sucked anyway.)
So now, here we are, a day later --- and I'm just boring meself silly until it's time for me to do the first of my two home Renaissance Faires, the New York Renaissance Faire Sterling Forest. As usual, I hope that Her Majesty, Queen Elizabeth I will attempt to properly converse with this ol' Mage (Dream ye on, Master Blackwolf!); and perhaps bestow something resembling Knighthood 'pon me Wizardly person. Pray, stay ye tun'd!
Master Blackwolf
