With International Talk Like a Pirate Day less than a week away, and the Pyrate Guys having unleashed upon you goodlies their new book, The Pirate Life: Unleashin' Yer Inner Buccaneer, this foolish old Wizard figured that it was time for ol' Blackwolf to do a little Pirate-grunting of his own.

I've been New York's Unofficial Wizard for quite a while now, and frankly, even in my days when I was just plain ol' Padraig of Abbeyleix, son of Saemus the Strong, I've often felt that Buccaneering is what one makes of it. And nobody makes it more fun than dear Captain Slappy and First Mate Chumbucket. Herewith, a toast --- or, to put it in Pirate-speak --- up grog to our Buccaneer buddies! And you'd better be nice to them, lest ye be forc'd to walk th' plank! (Ha-har!)
