Greetings, those of you who are new to Renspace.com! I am Blackwolf the Dragonmaster, Duke of Talisker, New York City's Unofficial Wizard ---- and it's my very pleasant duty to say a warm, friendly hello to you who seek refuge, as I sometimes wish to do, from what the Mortals call "the Mundane world."
What do we do here at Renspace.com? I hear you asking. What we do is find places where we can network fearlessly with one another, create bonds of friendship, tell tall tales, trade a few jokes --- and, most importantly of all, remind ourselves that we must at all times be honorable, courteous, chivalrous, kindly --- and, not to put too fine a point upon it, just plain NICE, blarst it all!
As a Wizard, I am duty honor-bound to serve the Forces of Niceness --- thus making me a Charter Member in Good Standing of that proudest of fraternities, ye Goode Guys! Huzzah! For those of you who don't know, we Goode Guys live for one purpose and one purpose only: to defeat ye Bad Guys, and secure Happy Endings for each and all. (OK, so that's two purposes, but let's not nit-pick here.)
Long point short, kiddos: Renspace.com belongs to YOU! So long as you abide by our Rules and By-laws, and practice kindness above all else around here, you'll be just fine! Do join us!

Master Richard is once more in chipper-day mode. His twit of a next-door neighbor this morning grumbled at the lad about the way he locks the door to the humble hovel; apparently, the vibrations from the walls have caused certain objects to fall off of the wall. Poor, unfortunate fool! Would that he knew going in that age, time and erosion have long plagued the apartments' structural cores; keep in mind that these particular apartments were built in the last years of the 1950s.
As a result, once more I find myself listening to my Mortal-born alter ego furiously grunting that there are those who are repeatedly annoying the poor young rooster with so much this, that and the other thing. Mortals, I fear, have a history of battling each other with the most evil concept of them all. Often times, it is called rage. I know whereof I speak, having fallen victim to its horrors myself.
Preventing rage among Royals and other Renfolk is something for which I have long been a spokesperson; I only hope that these short remarks will encourage most of you out there not to go grumbling against thy neighbour, least a similar fate befall ye........
Today, we salute my dear friend Lord Clisto Seversword, whose Tome of Adventure and Knowledge has now reached 3 MILLION hits and counting --- a wonderful and glorious milestone, to say the least. Clisto and I have been friends for many aeons now, and I am quite pleased indeed that he has been able to make this happen. No doubt his own Mortal-born doppelganger, one Jake Brunette by name, is just as tickled pink --- though I suspect there'll be celebrations worthy of guzzling down a spot or two of beer and whatnot.
As for me, I must e-mail Jeanne at the Halloween Parade, to make my traditional formal request to join its line of march (and, as before, I give my Apple Store Soho friends fair warning --- I'll be in me full costume on Halloween Day itself, as I do need to kill time prior to doing the Children's Halloween Parade, and then the Big One per se).
Enough nonsense for now. Must see to me Hotmail inbox. Later, dudes!
And so, there is still not enough to make this ol' Wizard a satisfied old coot. Now, yet again, the idiots who have been causing my Mortal-born alter ego no length of agita have once more seen fit to determine themselves to stop Master Richard from his one great desire, that of having a nice day.
There just seems to be so much coming from so many out here and beyond .... and it was not until yesterday that I learned (just barely) that my Official Rock Band, Lordi, will be returning to Manhattan --- to celebrate Halloween on our side of the Planet! They've been teamed with Type O Negative for 16 performances; one of those 16 being @ Irving Plaza on October 29th! I hope Lordi, Kita, Amen, Awa and Ox also decide to make an unexpected cameo @ the Greenwich Village Halloween Parade on the 31st; by then, I hope, I shall have fulfilled my wish to encounter Team Lordi in person. We shall see!
